Last Saturday saw the garden lights at the Devoncourt Hotel & Apartments being switched in fron of a crowd of several hundred well wishers.
Andrew Stoneman, Manager of the Hotel, says that the lights aren't just for their residents, the gardens are open to the public to visit to see the lights any day between now and January 3rd 2011. The Lights are being switched on at 5.30pm each night.

Exmouth at War
A new book about wartime life in Exmouth is due to be published in the autumn of 2010. Its author Arthur Cook has interviewed dozens of people from the town and the surrounding area for the book, Exmouth at War, which is set to be published by Halsgrove Books.
